Display Inspiration #1: Headbands

Display Inspiration #1: Headbands

-
We first picked up the soft gold wire Hs from Hobbycraft for our very first show as a stand design feature. We then bought some more as we were filling more space at the next show. While we were discussing display ideas for the headbands 7 or 8 Hs were lined up against the wall with a notebook propped up next to them, then there was a light bulb moment!

While a notebook is cost-effective, it's not the most supportive. We didn't have any wood or board with us that was the right size or shape so we headed down to our closest B&Q, bought some chipboard, then used their free cutting service so it fits our display. Voila!

B&Q (other companies available) offers a reasonable selection of board that can be cut, but it does all still look like wood. If you're looking to match things to your store taking a can of spray paint, or a brush if that's more you style, works very well while still keeping the texture of the board from before. Altogether it's a cheap solution for a display and is extremely flexible when it comes to sizing. If you have any DIY ideas, tips or tricks we'd love to hear from you!
